You can visit Aegina easily either by flying dolphin or ferry from Pireous in Athens. Dolphin is very quick, 45 minutes or so, but there is no view. The ferry is nicer because you can sit on top and enjoy fabulous views. The boats are very frequent. Aegina is a beautiful island, you may consider even staying there a couple of nights as there are many places to visit.
Have booked a trip to Greece the end of February and looking at taking the 3 island cruise (Hydra, Poros and Aegina). Can you provide some additional information on the cruise, and the sea conditions/weather during February. Thanks

Hi Joe, You could go directly to the Pireus and book a cruise on the spot or you cana lso book online. We went to Pireus and took Fly-Dolphins to Aegina. Fly-Dolphins is a quick way to travel to the islands and I think they have cruises to the three islands. I, personally, think that one day is not long enough to see the three of them, as the day in Feb is shorter than during the summer time, unfortunately. But it depends on what you are looking to do. We went just on Aegina, last Nov and 4-5 hours were not enough. We thought we won't need a car, that everything is close, but we had to re-think the plan and rented a car for 3 hours. If you go to Athens, you can spend 1-2 days there and take 2-3 days to see the islands: each day, another island. My advise is to be careful as some of the people seem to have no problem to rip off the tourists: we didn't pay attention at the gas station and had to pay twice 10 euros for the gas of 10euros... Some of them are nice and very helpful, but still: you need to stay aware of what are you paying for, not everythink worth the price. Have a nice and enjoyable trip to Greece: it is a beautiful country. And the islands are even more beautiful! Take care! Claudia
