I do not know the variety of the bulbs but they were in abundance in the garden. I would suggest contacting the Palace and asking the question to the gardeners. They had plants …

Hi - we're an independent trust and our entrance tickets go towards the maintenance and conservation of the Palace & Gardens, so I'm afraid there are no discounts for English Heritage or National Trust. We are members of the Historic Houses Association, so if you're a member, you'll get free entry.
