The site is for several theaters in Japan, including Tokyo and Osaka. The website is very confusing. But you can make reservations from the website or you can take chance to buy a single act ticket on day of performance. Hope this help. It is fun, I strongly recommend.
We are in Osaka with a guide for a few days but will have one day (May 9th) on our own. We would like to see the Bunraku Theatre but have some questions: Times of performances? Cost of well-located tickets? Is there some form of translation for non-Japanese speakers? How do we book? What is the nearest train station? You get the deposit back when you return it. The theater is not very big. We got the cheapest ticket and we had no problems. We did bring a Binocular. Hope it help you.
