Great historical site, short visit but very interesting. Recommend taking a tour guide. Great pit stop on the way to Hoi An/Da Nang or Hue. Karim P的完整评论

Hi there. Just wanted to know for people that have been to both, which you thought were better, Cu Chi or Vinh Moc Tunnels? I've been to Cu Chi last year and will be travelling down from Dong Hoi to Hoi An this year. Just wondering if it's worth stopping? Many Thanks to anyone who responds

We were a group with a prearranged tour and guide. I believe you can hire guides.. or they are on site to lead tours. but I'm afraid I can't offer a firm answer. I would advise not doing the tunnels without a guide.. as you could easily get lost and disoriented in the dark. Take small flashlights. Its an area with poisonous snakes who retreated and hid at the sound of our group intentionally making noise. BUT still worth noting. I'm snake-phobic and put my trust in our guide who leads tours regularly. Very interesting and sobering to understand the years of hiding from the Civil War raging on the coast and in the air.
