Hello, it is about 5 Km from the old quarter. We got a taxi from our hotel on the edge of the old quarter which was not too expensive and it took about 20-25 mins through busy traffic. Best to agree the likely price before you start, and make sure the meter is not already running. We got ripped off on our first day in Hanoi.
