To enter Fantasy Forest, you just have to find a parking spot at Leila Arboretum and walk in. The arboretum is a sort of forest itself. There are beautiful well-kept trees along the walking paths. Fantasy Forest is located in a space between these walking paths and Michigan Avenue so it can be seen from the street. The ground on which the Forest has been established has a natural bowl shape and is hilly in some areas. There are rules about not touching the carvings or walking into their plots. One statue includes a seat where you can sit and have your photo taken. There's also a seat nestled between two ash poles with carvings where you can take photos. Watch for the small signs pegged into the ground at the carving's site. You'll be able to see which ones to keep hands off and which ones you can sit on. Occasionally, there are bands playing in the pavilion for special events. I believe these events may have a small fee.
