It's very long beach so you can walk down until you find a spot that suits you, has a lovely sunset. Popular with locals without being overcrowded, plenty of bars and restaurants lining the road behind the beach. There is shade under trees behind the beach. It seemed clean to me and plenty of areas you can go in the sea. I thought it was a very nice beach.
hey everyone wondering if anybody could help me, we are going to Mauritius, suger beach hotel in 2 weeks arrive on the 27th January. Weather looks at the moment like its going to be very wet! can anybody let me know what they think and if they think its worth cancelling? i have read a few reviews that say rain is over quite quickly.. is this true? thanks!

Yes it rains from time to time. It is normally over quickly. There is more than enough to do even if it rains. Go and enjoy!

We were just there. It IS raining. During the week we were there, only on one occasion, it rained for 3 hours straight . Otherwise, it clears up in a few minutes. Unless there are …
