This vintage summer cottage is across the road from the lake bluff, and offers a lovely view of the lake and is a quiet, rustic getaway for newlyweds or young families with one or 2 small children. This is not a good choice for folks who are "condo people"--in other words, it's small, old fashioned, and not for everyone. The deck provides a place to grill your dinner as you sip a cool chardonnay from the nearby winery as you watch your children playing on the swingset. The small but serviceable kitchen has everything one would need, including coffeemaker and microwave, pie plate and rolling pin! The DOUBLE bed is brand new in 2022, the hide-a-bed has a blow up mattress, and linens are provided. The beach access is just a short walk away. (one quarter mile) and features a creek which will delight the little ones. Unfortunately in 2021 the beach was very rocky, but it changes all the time, so we’ll see what 2022 brings. Other local beaches are open, and have been listed among the best beaches in the world!.
