Not sure about bike rentals at Kiptopeke these days but I know you can rent bikes and golf carts in Cape Charles a very cute little town about 10 miles North. There is an awesome, very safe, 5 mile bike trail that goes right by Kiptopeke. The north end of the bike trail ends at Stingray's a great place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner with the family. Also at the south end of the bike trail is the Wildlife Refuge a great place to learn about nature and take some long nature walks.

The cabins are beautiful, relatively new. Really small vacation homes. The one we've reserved for our family in the spring has three bedrooms (king, 2x doubles, bunk beds), a living room, kitchen, dining room - all on an open floor plan. They have a big porch, ample parking, rocking chairs on the porch. We've been there camping twice and now are very excited to have a mini family reunion in the cabins.

You'd have to check with the park to get an exception. If you were reported for a violation you'd be ejected and lose your money.
