You can see Kronborg from the train station and surrounding areas, walk along the pier, visit the galleries, and I should think walk up quite close to the castle without actually paying to enter. You won't see Holger or the few castle rooms, but the castle and surrounding area, moat and shops are lovely.
I'd like to know if we should go by train - or go at all -if it's going to rain all the time.
