How much is it to have your photo with the koalas and do you have to reserve a time? I saw on google reviews its a law to only allow Koalas to be held 30minutes a day

It was $15 but not allowed to hold there unless booked well in advance according to them when I asked as previous group to us all held it but we just stood next to it.
Are there special times for taking a photo and cuddle with a koala or is it all day possible? Can you also make a picture with your own camera of the cuddle?

Yes, what Kenl461 said is accurate. If you are traveling with a group, it is likely that your organizer will allow time for you to go and hold a koala. If you booked Rainforestation tours on your own - make sure to allow time for this! Since many people take shuttles to/from Kuranda, it's not unusual to be on a particular time schedule. And of course, there is an extra charge for the koala photo - no surprise!

Hi there, if you book a trip via one of the online agencies they will arrange all tickets including the necessary bus transfers between all points that you book for. Usually you go up in either the Skyrail or Train, and back down in the other. While up in Kuranda there is quite a bit of walking to do, so a package including buses would be best, unless you are a very quick walker.

Hi. I have a brochure here that says the Army Duck Tour (which includes the tropical fruit orchard) is $24 Adult and $12 children. Family is $60 (2A + 2C). Children are 4 - 14 years The army duck takes you through the rainforest and on a rainforest lake. You walk through the fruit orchard on the way out after the army duck tour. The army duck is a novel way to see the rainforest, especially for young kids (mine are 3 & 7 year old boys). Hope this helps!
