I actually live next to the canal and I can see it out of my window and I love watching the barges go up and down, they often moor up outside. I also like people watching and there are plenty of them…Joanne H的完整评论

Hi, We are picking up a boat in August from Silsden boats and we are not having a lot of success finding information about pubs to stop and eat or moor up too along the way . Any suggestions much appreciated.We will be heading towards Skipton. Regards.

If you moor close in to Skipton you don't have to wander far before you find a pub and pretty much all of them are good ... not that I frequent them all but I've not heard a bad word …

Personally I would recommend The Narrowboat or The Woolly Sheep from my own experience. Hope you enjoy Skipton and hope the weather stays fine, x
