It's not easy! It is a FOUR MILE walk from the nearest bus stop. You would use the TravelineScotland app to find bus times from Edinburgh Bus Station to Dolphinton. Then ask the driver to let you off at the GARVALD road end. Once the bus has passed through West Linton, remind him/her because they are only human and may forget what you have asked. If you don't want to walk four miles there and four miles back, you should pre-book a taxi from a firm in West Linton and get off the bus there to meet your taxi. This is of course expensive, so make sure you discuss the cost when you book so that you don't get a shock. The Little Sparta website has links to the Traveline app and the local taxi - these will be updated near the start of the season.
