He has several places he uses, but we didn’t go that much higher than Moab. We stopped on the road to canyonlands island in the sky area. So perhaps 5500-6000 ft.
Is it easy to get to Red Rock Astronomy and that were everyone meets? Is there and cost to attend? Are reservations required? Approx how long is the presentation and viewing? What time does it start? Is there a maximum number of attendees that can attend? Thank you

The meet location is a well lit parking lot (with restrooms) midway between downtown Moab and the entrance to Arches National Park. The meet time depends on sunset & weather (on my Oct trip it was 7:30PM). Reservations are indeed required and fees apply (~$40/pp cash). The practical size limit for groups is 8-10 participants; however, the website states that groups of 2-40 are accompanied. From the meet location it takes about 15-20 min to drive (in your own car) to the viewing location. The program lasts approximately 90 min. Individual viewing time at the telescope varies, but it does not feel “rushed.” Recommend reviewing the FAQs on the official website for additional details.
