I would say no for fear of heights! Depends how severe your fear is but there some paths you walk along steep cliffs, and some metal stairs you climb that are very steep. I'm not …

Heyyy Im taking a quick trip to Maderia in 2 weeks! Im planning to hike to the higest point of the island, i wanted to include the "stairway to heaven". Does anyone know where the starting point for this trail is and how long it can take, it would be nice to catch the sunrise or sun set. thanks for any help

Think your best best is a taxi to Pico Arieiro and then hike to Ruivo.
