I haven't ridden in years. I am 63 and only in fair condition. Would I be able to ride at your ranch. My husband is also in his 60s and hasn't ridden since his 30s either. What can you tell us about what we need to be able to do in order to go on an hour and a half ride? What is the cost? While we both are losing weight, my husband weighs about 270. Is there a weight limit?

Hey Fariba, It is beautiful here you will love it! With it being in March I would plan on it being pretty warm here probably 80's seeing that its mid 70's already, and any ride here will be mostly in the sun, so make sure that you can wear something comfortable in warmer weather (capris would work). Tennis shoes or boots will work great and they provide a helmet if you want to wear one although its an option its not enforced. If you look up Saguaro Lake Ranch Stables you can click on activities and check out their pricing/trips and the contact information is at the top of the page. It is a great place for riding and they have some beautiful trails to ride on, I am sure you will love it! Peralta canyon is also a beautiful trail to hike if you plan on doing hiking as well! Make sure to bring some good hiking boots, it can be a bit rocky in areas so the ankle support is a benefit. The only other thing is to make sure you have a first aid kit with you on hikes, the cactus can be pretty nasty if you touch one on accident. I hope you have a wonderful trip it is a great place to visit!
