Had to go to at least one Mansion when visiting Newport and this is the one to visit. It was busy but everyone was very curtious and things kept moving. Make sure when visiting to download the audio.… David S的完整评论

These wonderful mansions require a great deal of care and upkeep. It is remarkable for us to be granted a look back into the past for the price of one good glass of wine… Do yourself a favor…skip something else, but don’t miss going inside and outside to visit such a grand old piece of history!!

It will depend on when you go. The brochure says effective October 30th, the hours are reduced during the winter months from 10am to 4 pm. However, you can call them or contact them to find out. However, even if they allow admission up until 5pm, I would not wait until that late to begin a tour because the tour can easily take longer than an hour, especially if you: are with multiple people, take your time, take photos and explore the grounds outside.
