Hi, I am travelling from Hanoi old quarter and am looking for a mall with a large hyper/supermarket with cheap prices and retail outlets. Reading you question, I would go to big C supermarket, think that might suit you most. Cheap prices you do not really find in the Mega malls, however after Tet there will be lot of sales items in these malls from well known brands, for reasonable prices. Be careful because a 50% discount might still make it more expensive than you home country.
