The Etches Collection is the finest single collection of Late Jurassic age fossils ever assembled in Britain. Many of the species in this extraordinary collection of amazing fossils, all found in the Kimmeridge Clay & within a 2 mile locality of the village of the museum in Kimmeridge, are new to science & of great palaeontological importance. The collection is housed in a new purpose-built museum, learning & visitor centre in the village of Kimmeridge, on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset. A virtual aquarium, interactive exhibition & activities bring to life their incredible 'stories from deep time' enabling the visitor to understand about life, death & the battle for survival in the Kimmeridgian seas of Dorset some 157 million years ago..

A fantastic museum, amazing fossil collection and very informative displays. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You can see fossils being worked on in the museum which was fascinating to watch.… Debs W的完整评论

Be prepared for some very narrow roads when you visit. What’s on show is very interesting and well laid out but entry is very expensive at £9.50 per adult and no consessions for OAPs. Yes, the ticket… Colin R的完整评论
