I'm going to kotu in 2020 I'd like to get an idea on cost of drinks alcoholic and also soft drinks coffee etc . Also an idea on cost of breakfasts. And meals .taxis . Can I exchange euro or does it have to be sterling? Thank you in advance

Hi. Taxis are very cheap. We paid about £4 from Kotu to Koroli and he even waited for us until we were ready to leave. We also had his mobile number so used him every night. Very reliable too. A bottle of beer in the hotel was about £2.50 and diet coke was the same price as here. We used an excellent Chinese restaurant in Until I and paid about £16 for 2 people including a beer and soft drink. Breakfast was included in the hotel package but was only average. Try Kunte Kinte restaurant for breakfast.
What money do we take? Sterling, US Dollars or Euro? Are there any ATMs in Kotu?
