I visited today and at the brickwalk/statue a sweet tan dog came up to me and was practically begging for attention. He came very close to the road and was even "playing" with the oncoming traffic! My heart broke leaving him there as he was even drinking from the green puddles by the parking area. Has anyone seen this dog, or know if he has a home?

And don't forget to see the Averasboro Battlefield and Cichora (sp) Confederate cemetery which isn't far from Bentonville BF. Yes, you will need at least a couple of hours to do it right.
