A Wesselton township man in Ermelo is expected to appear in the Ermelo Magistrate's Court, charged with strangling his 17-month-old daughter to death.

A 17-month-old girl died and her parents were severely injured when a blaze consumed their duplex apartment in the southern part of the city early Sunday morning. Their names were not released Monday.
