A Japan-based retailer is eyeing another piece of Central Texas real estate. Japanese dollar store Daiso is growing its presence in the region with a second store planned for the state's capital city.

Its first U.S. store opened in 2005, and it now has more than 77 locations in California, Washington, Texas, New York and New Jersey. Efforts to speak with Daiso were unsuccessful.
