Eminem's mom, Debbie Nelson, has died at 69 years old on Dec. 2 from complications of lung cancer, PEOPLE can confirm. The rapper's mom's diagnosis was revealed in September by multiple outlets.

WASHINGTON — Debbie Nelson, the mother of rapper Eminem, died Monday evening. She was 69. Eminem’s longtime representative Dennis Dennehy confirmed Nelson’s death in an email on Tuesday.
