Isuzu has unveiled a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel for the D-Max and MU-X to replace the 1.9-litre base engine with more power and lower emissions – while the existing 3.0-litre continues unchanged.
Isuzu Motors (Japan) announced Friday that it is partnering with Canadian company Westport Innovations to develop engines using Westport's Compressed Natural Gas Direct Injection (CNG-DI) technology.
Isuzu MU-X thrives on rocks, sand and mud. The 2021 edition of the car comes in a 1,900cc diesel engine. It has both four-by-four and four-by-two capabilities. There are, however, other engine sizes.
