While Shogun is part of the 6 book series of James Clavell's Asian Saga, it is the only book released under the title of Shogun.

Either way, this is the most entertaining of the six books by Clavell, from cover to cover ... it's the first one he wrote. King Rat was published in 1962, four years before Tai-pan.
