尽管合资燃油小型车在国内的市场份额在不断缩小，但是很多海外市场还是有很大需求的。近日，大众发布了针对南美市场的全新小型SUV官图，新车命名为大众TERA，基于MQB-A0平台打造，定位要比国产的上汽大众途铠还要低。

动力方面，Tera与Polo、Nivus共享相同架构，基于MQB-A0平台打造。车辆搭载了1.0升涡轮增压三缸发动机，支持双燃料形式，为消费者提供了手动和自动变速箱两种选择，满足了不同驾驶者的需求。
