Syracuse, N.Y. — Destiny USA is suing one of its oldest tenants, a popular national-chain restaurant known for its 1950s’ diner vibe, for more than $100,000 in unpaid rent. Carousel Center Co.
Most of Destiny USA’s power will be restored almost two hours after a large part of the mall went dark. Power should be back up by 7:30 p.m., said Will Brunell, a spokesperson for National Grid.
The mall is now open and there is no active threat. SPD later identified the suspect as 50-year-old Darell Anderson Navedo of Syracuse. Navedo is charged with one count of making a terroristic threat.
