The Wizard of Oz has seen many iterations on the big screen, ranging from Oz the Great and Powerful to the recent movie musical Wicked. Each one has brought its own unique spin to the timeless story.

The Wiz has gone on to become a classic in its own right, revived in countless productions on stage and live musical television, even inspiring the 2005 TV movie The Muppets' Wizard of Oz.
