President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.’s Partido Federal Pilipinas (PFP) will ally with the Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC) in preparation for the May 2025 midterm elections.

Cayco, who is serving her third consecutive term as governor under the PFP, is seeking a congressional post against incumbent Rep. Ciriaco Gato of NPC who is looking for reelection in the same post.
