Chevy produced its Square Body C/K pickup trucks from 1973 through 1987. With its 15 model-year production run, the Square Body was one of the most successful models in Chevrolet history.

The pickup truck segment expanded 2.6 percent to 2.9 million units during the 2024 calendar year, meaning that the five percent growth rate in Chevy truck sales outperformed the segment average.
