Kentucky Senator Rand Paul was the lone Republican to vote against the budget resolution, joining all Democrats.

Earlier this week, Rand Paul said that Fauci should "without question" face jail time over issues relating to the origins of COVID-19.

The senator, who ran against Trump in the 2016 GOP presidential primary, stopped short of endorsing him in the 2024 election.
