2017年4月30日 · Mine takes a GL-5 fluid. If you do get Amsoil gear oil, make sure you go to the "garage" section on Amsoils web site, and order the hand pump to aid in getting the oil from the bottle in to the differential. I did torque the rear diff bolts to 20-23 ft lbs., IIRC.

2015年9月12日 · Water crossings can allow contamination is only if the vent is submerged or there is a leaking seal. What happens during a water crossing is the warm/hot differential is submerged in water which instantly cools it off and causes that expansion to work in reverse sucking the air back in.

2013年5月8日 · The manual states to change fluid in both front and rear differentials "if" vehicle is used for blah blah blah at 15K miles. Mine is a daily driver with no real hard usage thus far and I'm thinking of waiting to 30K miles before I change the fluid. Your thoughts? Also what brand fluid is most preferred? Thanks.

2011年7月17日 · Anyone know the amount of fluid needed for front and rear differentials on a 2500? I pulled the plug on the rear and was not able to feel the fluid. It's time to change them but I'm not sure how much to put in.

2018年11月30日 · Looking for some advice on what would be the proper way to change front and rear differential oil. Looking to do the first change on my 2017 Ram 3500. Differential has a plug. Should I just drain the diff with the plug and refill? Would it be better to remove the covers and clean the differential. If so, would using a cleaner harm the pinion seal?
