2011年5月22日 · Once you're all done, take a spring rake, turn it over so the tines are facing up and drag it across the mulch. This smooths the mulch back out and kind of "mixes" the little clippings that are left back in a little. Once they dry up and turn brown, you dont really notice them in the mulch as much if theres only a few left.

2012年2月29日 · This is the correct answer. Mulch turns into a beneficial mat of decomposed matter and surface roots from the plants. If it's really thick use a leaf rake and remove the top layer. If you apply the correct amoount of new mulch you wont have any color change issues. This why I stopped using weedblock fabric.

2014年12月20日 · Just a million or two smaller size leaves. I tried blowing them to strengthen the fire, but that sent a lot of ash into the air and aggravated the next door neighbor. So I couldn't continue using much air. I might deal with wet leaves in a field or wooded area again one day, but not a neighborhood. Live and learn boys. That's the best way to learn

2006年11月28日 · Most of my accounts have pine straw beds, not many like mulch. For the life of me, I cannot get all the leaves out of the beds short of picking them out by hand. I generally "blow over" the straw to get the leaves out and this lessens the amount of straw blown out. Much more direct airflow it either flaps the straw up or blows it out entirely.

2020年10月4日 · Blow leaves into lawn, mow the lawn letting the bag get full so you mulch, do that 1-2 times. Then do a final pass emptying the bag whenever it's filled. Trick is to not mulch the leaves too much as they mower won't do s good job picking them up, but enough so they are extremely compact in the bagger.

2021年11月12日 · That bagger would fill up fast, but once it is filled it helps mulch the leaves, since they have less chance of exiting the cutting area. The only thing I've used that bags leaves well is the Exmark Ultra Vac, that sends the leaves through the vacuum attachment, which grinds them up into tiny pieces, before they go through the tube to the bags ...

I just got a ZTR to mow the lawn and I'm trying to figure out the best way to get rid of the leaves. In other words, what method will allow me ( one person with no helpers) to get the leaves off the lawn in the least amount of time.

2022年11月14日 · Thanks for the question. It's hard to say, but I will tell you the smart way to do it: mulch. When you mulch leaves, you break them up into tiny pieces, so much less effort is required to bag them up. If you don't mulch, then almost all of the leaves have to be blown into the bagger. It's a lot easier to mulch than it is to bag leaves.

2009年9月20日 · These gas blower/vacs do a decent job of sucking up and shredding leaves from rocks fairly nicely, and generally by working the vac tube around the rocks you can dislodge stubborn leaves. If you would consider getting one of these shredder vac/blowers, let me just suggest that you make sure it has a metal impeller blade.
