Owned and operated by father-son duo Chuck and Del Worsham, Worsham Racing first got it's start in Orange, California in the 1980s. While racing together, Chuck and Del amassed over 25 wins together and consistently finished in the top 10 in points standings.

Del Worsham is an NHRA Mello Yello professional funny car driver. He was born on February 11, 1970 in Whittier, California. His father Chuck Worsham worked on a alcohol funny car team when Del was young, enabling him to spend time at the racetrack. He even earned the nickname "Washrag," due to him being the dirtiest kid at the track.
