Alamo Lake is arguably one of the best largemouth bass and crappie fisheries in Arizona! This 3,500 acre lake was created in 1968 following the construction of an earthen dam on the Bill Williams River.

Crappie fishing at Alamo has been decent the last two weeks. Most of the larger fish have been caught at night using light bars off the side of the boat. Catfish are being caught regularly from shore using nightcrawlers. They aren’t very deep right now -- use a bobber to keep your worm just above the lake bottom.
