2022年3月2日 · All the lithium button batteries have very flat voltage over the life of the battery, until the very end and then they drop rapidly (a very sharp end of life knee in vdc readouts). If I recall correctly, the Honda Fobs will start throwing a warning on vehicle the instrument panel when the fob battery is down to ~ 3.1vdc.

2021年3月25日 · My estimate is that when the Fob is active, the measured voltage would be ~0.20 vdc lower than the battery sitting idle. Honda has set the low battery threshold to keep completely away from the rather short fall-off tail that CR2032s typically demonstrate AND to account for the normal consumer range of temperature a Fob will experience.

2019年3月12日 · I did not have to reprogram the Fob or manually reset the low key battery message after putting in a new Key battery but it did take 2 starts for the message to go away. (This is not the OEM Honda Key Fob battery but a lithium Energizer CR 2032 3-volts replacement I bought at Walmart. 6 for less than $6 with tax. 10 year shelf life.

No screws to remove, just take your key out from the remote, then take a thinner key or screw driver and put it between the two plastic "mini pillars" or protrusions up top and twist.

2023年5月19日 · FYI: You can always start your car even with a dead fob. If the battery is ever completely dead, just press the start button WITH the fob itself. There's a RFID type chip inside the fob that gets scanned when it's at close range with the button.

2018年7月23日 · The battery is a CR2032. Just get a good branded one with a best before/use by date that is far out and you should get at least a couple years again. Note that these keyless fobs in cars with them are pretty chatty with the car when they are nearby/in them so a cheap dollar store battery will likely not last as long.

2015年9月8日 · So, after 2 years, my keyfob battery is low, or so says my car - on occasion, not every time - but every other day. In my case, a CR 2032 (will save you a lot of trouble if you didn't know this,) and found a way to easily take the fob apart, and back together.

2016年11月3日 · @Route 66, When my FOB battery is low on my 2014 Touring, I get the following message: "Keyless Remote Battery Low". BTW, I've had my car for ~2 years and yesterday was the first time for the low battery message. My warning message is different than the message you receive.
