2017年6月6日 · It may be your MacBook can't supply enough power? The doorbell needs more power than you'd think. I had to replace my old doorbell transformer (which had worked fine for years) with a more powerful one. Disconnect the doorbell from your MacBook and try powering it from a USB power adapter instead. I think it needs 10W minimum (so 5V at 2A min)

2022年4月9日 · The Logitech Circle View Doorbell is installed in a covered entry way. The entrance is north facing so the precession of the sun will never quite get to an angle that will directly expose the front yard’s security camera or door bell. The backyard security camera is covered by a deck.

2023年12月8日 · I ended up buying a doorbell camera from my alarm company. Perhaps I should have purchased the Ecobee doorbell. I do have their latest thermostat and a bunch of sensors. Like “lifeisabeach”, I think the Logitech design appears flawed. Also, I do not plan to include cameras in home automation. I decided to tie them to security instead.

2020年11月30日 · Excessive compression. Compared it with ecobee and eufy cameras and worst of the three and not able to see facial details well. Hopefully this is an improved sensor from that camera. 3. With my ecobee camera, now with HSV, it sends recording footage to iCloud that includes a few seconds before motion is triggered which is super helpful.

2009年11月19日 · The Logitech Circle View was the first official HomeKit camera I tried. Until then I was using Nest cameras with a Starling hub. I had a ton of problems with the Logitech constantly losing connection. I tried it twice and returned it twice. Recently I added a couple Aqara G2H Pros to my Home and they’ve worked perfectly so far.

2017年11月8日 · Logitech support told me it was normal for water to appear under the glass. I argued that you don’t see this with car headlights unless there is a bad seal and if water droplets get in front of the camera lens, behind the glass, I will have a distorted camera view that I can’t wipe away for however many days it takes to dry up.
