2018年7月5日 · Here is an archived version of a fantastic old site that had like a decade of 911 call recordings. They're great for rookies to listen to and practice with, as well as interesting for veterans to listen to.

Calls usually came in directly from the 911 center after someone called 911. We had a dedicated "red line" they'd call us for emergencies in our area. We also had a direct emergency line that community could call directly for an ambulance.

2025年1月2日 · Older brother’s friend is/was (can’t remember) a 911 dispatcher. One call was from a very angry (presumably) white, conservative mom who caught her son engaging in homosexual activities with his friend. She said she needed the police to “beat some sense into him.” The dispatcher did send the police, but to have a talk with the mom.
