The likely problem is the vacuum switch has a leak in it and when the vacuum rises it activates the front axle interlock. When you shift it the valve gets moved and the vacuum bleeds off and then the problem starts over. Pull the vacuum line off of the actuator (under the battery) Or follow it up to the nearest connection and disconnect it.

2011年8月29日 · Check your Owner’s manual to confirm. A GM mechanic told me to engage 4wd every week or two, otherwise the TCCM (Transfer case control module) locks up. He suggested disconnecting the cable at the TCCM to reset it. When the 4wd drive starts acting up on my Blazer, I disconnect the battery for a few minutes to reset the TCCM.
