2022年8月1日 · This is a splendid sandy beach that was Ladies only in Victorian times but is now open for all. The sea is clear and the beach clean. The water though in June was chilly. Waves crash against the cliffs on each side. Nice little shop with local ice cream. Parking is limited. Lifeguard is in attendance.

Flanked by caves and overlooked by the famous castle green, at low tide you can walk over to the men’s beach and stroll as far as the Cashen river. Alternatively if tides forbid this you can do the cliff walk which will overlook the ladies and eventually she nuns beach.
