Half Orc is the best race for a paladin however you dont really need to minmax that much to have a really enjoyable experience, sure you're relying a little on RNG but there are a lot of items that give you a increased chance to score a crit and if you are conserving your spellslots you should try and hold out for crits anyways and the other racial feature resisting dying is also really good

2023年8月10日 · Deep Gnome is objectively the best race for every class. it's really hard to say no to advantage on 3 different stat's saves, as well as stealth as well as improved dark-vision in a game with tonnes of underground or otherwise dark areas. If you're playing anything that isn't a Deep Gnome, you're not power-gaming.

2023年9月7日 · Any Paladin race is fine from a Lore standpoint; what powers Paladins supernatural abilities is the raw power of their Oathsworn cause not anything external. Gith a pretty good. Paladins already have all of the Armour and Weapon Proficiencies, so you only really get any benefit from Racial spells, special abilites, racial resistances and so on.

2023年7月2日 · The downside of having to take 3 levels of Paladin, though, is that in BG3 this would limit you to only 9 levels of Bard, so you'd miss out on the level 10 bard perks i.e. Bardic Inspiration (d10), Expertise, Magical Secrets and your 2nd level 5 spell slot (and a few more cantrips and known spells).
