DIY Kit Reccomendations for 4x8 CNC Router - CNCzone
2022年1月24日 · I'm looking for a good, complete DIY 4'x8' CNC router kit. I don't mind supplying computer/router, etc. I'll be using the machine for cutting parts out of 1/4", 1/2" and 3/4" bamboo sheets. I found the blackfoot (blackFoot 4x8 v4.1 CNC Machine). Any others? Looking for a solid, stable design. Best, Jim

2019年5月7日 · And they now offer a "steel" machine for $17,000. By the looks of it, a CNC Router Parts machine is at least twice as rigid, for half the price. The one thing they do really well, is get people to pay a lot of money for very subpar machines.

2017年8月14日 · The pre-version gantry with Z-axis and all parts will weight for sure more than 100kg (later i want to build something heavier when the cnc router is ready to cut in metall), so i dont know if 3.1Nm would be enough.

2017年10月31日 · A CNC Router Parts Standard kit that you build yourself will come in a little over $5000, if you do all of the electronics yourself. That would be the best bang for the buck. If you can afford it, the Pro kit for ~$1000 more. If you buy everything from them, and just assemble it, it can run closer to $8000-$10000.

Heh, I bought a full ER20 collet kit for my 2.2kw chinese spindle on Ebay form this seller ctctoolseller for US$40. arrived safely and quality looks good, a lot less expensive than the $200 on Amazon?

This is my 4x8 design and I plan to use the following.... Avid CNC rack and pinion drives and gear racks, Linear rails on all axis (looking for about 2800mm lengths ?)
