2015年9月4日 · One post stated Century uses plastic thru-hull fittings and this is completely false. At least in the last 10-20 years if ever. Every thru-hull fitting is either bronze or chrome over bronze above the waterline. Further, every hose is double clamped using stainless hose clamps. I have also read where people compare Century to many other boats.

Go by Indian Springs or stop by Central Marine and ask to check out some of the boats in the Service Area – Century or Cobia boats that have a Serial Numbers that end with a 01, 02, or 03. You will see little or no spider cracks on the boat interiors.

2003年4月4日 · Definitely do not buy a pre-1998 Century. Thats when I think Yamaha bought them. The delamination issues seem to be well behind them and Century could do a better job of cleaning up their rep even if the issue was the responsibility if the previous owner ( of Century inc.) The bay boats and the deck boats seem to be identical.

2003年2月19日 · ok. i've checked with the factory and the century 2201 and the cobia 221 bay boats are identical other than stickers. that being said, the 2201/221 and the 2101/211 are the same hull other than higher sides and an extra 4"/100 lbs on the 22'.
