Dechlorinated water is useless. It will just crash your cultures. An air stone will cause a current that will toss them around killing them. I feed mine powdered fish flakes or green water.

The only survivors are a few adult Daphnia living in the containers with my larvae, yet too large for the babies to eat. I made another order for a Daphnia culture online. Wish me luck.

I have used collard greens juice I got from a blender. It seemed to work well but flake food was much more cost effective and I saw little difference.
