2006年1月10日 · It is a fuel system cleaner and works VERY WELL. The BG 244 is a Diesel version of BG 44K. The big thing is to use it when you are making short trips NOT on a long trip. You want the BG 244 to be able to soak in during shut down. Then at start up carbon and other deposits that where softened by the BG 244 are burnt off. Wayne B

2012年11月16日 · I used the diesel clean (silver bottle) 32 oz in 10 gallons for injector cleaning (Stock no mods 7.3L 2000 F250) then on a 400 mile trip applied 32 oz in 25 gallons. Engine ran a little smother but still had a mild rough idle. DTC contribution test shows P0272 #4 cylinder and P0284 #8 cylinder. Buzz injector test ok all cylinders.

2013年9月7日 · The orifices in a 6.0 injector are almost too small to see with the naked eye. If you look at an injector that's been in service you won't be able to see them. You can see them on new injectors because the tips are super clean. It doesn't take much to plug one up. Diesel Kleen in only going to help you on the fuel side though.

2010年9月8日 · When you run a "fuel system cleaner", it reduces the lubricity of the diesel fuel and could damage the HP fuel pump. I've read that Ford engineering does not recommend dealers perform those Wynn's or BG fuel system injector flushes (total ripoff anyway) on 6.4's because it can damage the HP fuel pump.

2005年3月3日 · When my injector was carboned up after 5 years of the Ford dealer not tightening the injector down. I just gently used selected tools ie small blade screwdrivers and dental picks to clean up the sides and "blew" it out as best I could (wrong wrong wrong) never blow it out, because most goes into the cylinder.
