Erlik, also known as The Flame Lord, is a god of northern Hyrkania. Long ago, a prophet known as Tarim brought Erlik's wisdom to a tribe of Hyrkanian raiders who, with the strength of their religious fervor, traveled west and founded the Turanian Empire. Erlik is a harsh god who believes in tempering the soul through trial and deprivation.

Erlik was a Hyborian Era deity from Marvel comics, though he is part of the mythology of Conan the Barbarian - a franchise that doesn't fully belong to Marvel (although the company did have rights to the character for a while).

The "Talons of Erlik" were invoked in Conan the Barbarian I#43. Clerics of Erlik (and Living Tarim) who follow the strict codes of the Revelations of Tarim are able to master terrible necromancy. Among their powers is the ability to sink into the earth and command undead.

This temple, built with gold and marble, pays tribute to Erlik, the supreme deity of Hyrkania. Erlik is a god of death and necromancy and his followers are said to be well versed in the black arts. What the priests of Erlik are plotting no one can say as they perform their rituals behind the golden doors of the temple.

2021年4月7日 · Conan is a young thief in Arenjun. During a brawl in an inn, Conan is saved by a mysterious swordsman. Escaping the commotion, he overhears two Zamboulans, Karamek and Isparana, plotting to steal the Eye of Erlik. The amulet has the power to control mind of the king of Arenjun. Conan goes to the house of Hisarr Zul ahead of the thieves.

Erlik, also known as the Flame Lord, was a minor god of the eastern steppes until his word was carried among the Hyrkanians by a prophet named Tarim. Erlik's avatar is, indeed, the Living Tarim, appearing in this guise as a human whose face is hidden under a hooded robe.

Conan is in Shadizar (he has the Eye of Erlik). He leaves, avoiding Khauran, and arrives in Zamboula, then returns to Shadizar (without the Eye of Erlik).

Conan and Jenna encounter a demon-filled mist that seems to be an illusion caused by the piping of a dandy named Vonndhar who greets the two. He says he has come to claim Jenna's soul in the name of his master, Erlik, god of death.

Everywhere is shiny with a smell of death. Look at the patterns on walls and ground, feel the textures of the statues and buildings.
