2014年3月19日 · I have just received my new Henry Single Shot 45-70 rifle and what a nice rifle it is. Great wood, fit and overall finish. For the hammer, the Grovetec GTHM-70 extension fits perfectly and is flush with the bottom of the hammer so no interference with the barrel release lever. I just spoke to a rep at Henry Arms regarding field stripping.

Not many choices, Leupold 56515 base and Leupold VXII 3-9x33 Ultralight scope in low Burris Zee rings work great on my 308 Win.

2023年12月7日 · I would echo jedman on this. i keep wanting a new 357 single shot, and keep coming back to putting a 357 barrel on one of the Remington Rolling Block actions I have. I'll have a better barrel with a proper chamber, nice wood, etc. If course, the Henry would be less out of pocket and would shoot just was well or better.

2021年2月11日 · Single shot 45-70's love them my single shot now is an 1884 trapdoor. Henry single shots never even seen one let alone been able to get my hands on one . ordered one a couple of years ago but finaly got tired of waiting and cancelled the order.
