Kent Franklin McWhirter (born September 26, 1942), [1] known by his stage name Kent McCord, is a retired American actor, best known for his role as Officer Jim Reed on the television series Adam-12.[2] McCord was born Kent Franklin McWhirter in Los Angeles, California to Bert and Laura McWhirter.
