2021年8月15日 · The led lights that came with the top fin starter kit caused my plants to melt so I got a full spectrum NICREW light off of Amazon and secured it with waterproof 3M Velcro. Put the velcro right over the old led lights.

2021年12月4日 · Ziptied it directly to the existing light. It sticks down a bit further that the regular light so water can't be filled as high...without the bulb being in the water. I hated the water line...To combat the very thin top edge, I hated seeing the light from the front, I bought black contact paper and cut a 1.5" strip to go around the edge.

2022年5月11日 · It is a porch light yeah. I swapped the led to a working light and the leds barely lit up and some were dead. The other light worked fine when plugged into the dead light's controller. Wish it was just the controller, that is way easier to swap out

2021年11月21日 · I was an early adopter of LED bulbs. It's been at least 10 years of running 100% LED bulbs across four houses. I have moved the same bulbs between houses and added new ones as I added more fixtures. I have never had an LED bulb burn out. I use Phillips Hue bulbs exclusively these days with some old-style looking LED bulbs in my dining room ...

Update, after prying out the light assembly and seeing the price for replacements had to get tricky. Found a similar light strip on Amazon for pretty cheap. Had to do some soldering and fiddling to get it in there but it works like a champ for a couple months now. Here’s the light I used.

2022年11月18日 · A: To fix mine I purchased from Home Depot 17W LED assembly PN 206186401 Then pried off the light cover with a small flat head screwdriver, replaced the LED board with the new LED board, and then my light worked. Seems like it's not meant to be a field replaceable part, but it works. use a light touch and expect to have to glue it back in place.

I scanned in a picture of the the Aerogarden array on a flatbed scanner, and got to work reverse-engineering and recreating it in KiCad. I ordered boards and built the replacement LED array, and it works just the same as the original (to a naked eye at least).

As for the cost of a replacement LED light array you would have to call AeroGarden customer support 1-800-476-9669.
